again!

 Things are better today, the weather is not blistering and there is no icy feeling in the body as there was yesterday.

It was seven, get up and go make breakfast.

There is a pot of cat grass upstairs, and for whatever reason that cats have, the cat likes to nibble and bite. On the was to the bathroom, see that it has made her vomit. This is nasty, take care where the feet are placed.

Make breakfast, eat  it and then examine the mail, the news and whatever else that the computer may have to offer. That is not much today. The democrats in the USA seem to be more optimistic, even though the system itself seems loaded against them.

Then downstairs, get the bucket and mop. Clear up the cats mess, and then wipe the stairs. They have been getting dusty rapidly now for a few weeks, it is time that they were wiped down. This is satisfying, it is one of the many things that needed to be done.

Upstairs, the sound of the neighbour bellowing into his 'phone comes over from the balcony opposite. Turn on the radio so that his chatter will be drowned in the jazz coming from the Australian station.

The bed is made, the used clothes have been packed away. These things are done daily anyway. Check the bank accounts, there are so many things that can be done online now. The computer that had received the coffee splash last week has died, it will need dismantling, perhaps the defective part can be identified and replaced. The purchase of the second identical model was sensible after all. This blog would be difficult without it. And old Apples are not bad and they are cheap in comparison to the new models.

Now is the time to go out and to start walking about town.
