not for now

At five in the morning there was the sound of a church bell clanging continuously. This was not the usual beating of the time, but a continuous noise. It had hardly finished when there was the sound of sirens and police horns, the sound doppler-shifting as they sped on their assignments. Finally after some time, the mobile 'phone made a loud and especially unpleasant noise. Look at the offending instrument and see that there is a public health warning. A chocolate factory near Landshut is burning down, there is a large cloud of smoke and nearby residents are to keep their windows closed. People are supposed to keep away from the area near Altdorf.

Sniff the air, it is not smoky. Leave the window open, the smoke is not drifting to this part of Landshut.

The night was occupied with nightmares of death and destruction. There is no inkling where these thoughts might come from. There are memories of a face covered in a black mass of something, illogical thoughts of hanging, of wandering through despairing dead vegetation.

No idea. It is not nice.

Breakfast is in order, the kitchen has been cleaned up somewhat. There is no sign of the cat, she has probably been fed already, and has no interest in further communication for now.
