It is night again, and work has just finished. It is difficult and requires concentration. It is not easy to take pictures of the small figures. And taking pictures of each one three times, one after the other in different poses, is tiring. The first phase of the job will be finished tomorrow. There is not much to be done now, it is not possible to work any more.
There was an opening of an exhibition in the foyer of the town hall today. It consisted of pictures done by a Chinese artist living in Munich. Most of her pictures were round about religious themes, and were just too meaningful to be of any great interest. There were two quite beautiful paintings of fields in Autumn, and the picture of the back garden of a house. These pictures were pleasant and well done. All of the woman's pictures were competently done. Just the content of many of them was difficult.
Return to the artist's studio after hearing that there would be no concert tonight.
Try to work and to finish the job, but there is just no concentration there any more.
Lie down for a few minutes before going home.
