 This morning was spent putting small things in order and reading the news. Leave the house in the late morning and go to get some felt and some light cloth. The felt is for the artists figurines and the cloth is to cover the shirts that have been hung on a rail outside the wardrobe. The cloth is to prevent the shirts all getting dusty Some of the shirts will have to wait until summer before they are worn again.

At midday go to the small café for a cup of coffee and a roll. Whilst there recieve a telephone call from the workshop where the camera parts are being repaired. The master say that the item is done and ready to be collected.

That is good news. Go to the fancy liquor store and buy two bottles of Schnapps, that is a pleasant way of saying thank you for good service.

At home again, collect the tools needed for measuring and cutting the felt. Then spend the next four hours  making a felt inlay for the figurines. It is a lot more work than imagined.

But now, at the end of the day, be satisfied with the work and imagine that it would be pleasant to have a glass of beer in the pub.
