At midday give up with trying tpp stay awake at home. Go to the station by bus and take the next train to Passau. Wander about the town. They are clearin g trees from the steep bank of the Danube with a helicopter. The noise is to be heard all over town.
Take a picture of the monument to that pogrom night eighty years ago. There is an flag raise with the Star of David on it.
Take another picture of people playing cards with the monument in thebackground. Take the picture theough the window od the cafe nearby.
Now return to the station. Passau is not a big town, arrive at the station much too early. The train is waiting, so get in and write these notes. The train will leave in twelve minutes.
It was a strange outing, It was nice to see Passau on the Autumn.
