A day that was not constructive, just a few telephone calls, the answer to some ridiculous mails and an attempt to get hold of a big scanner. The loan service has been discontinued, the scanner is unavailable.
Write a mail telling the professor that things will take a bit longer.
He writes back to thank for the trouble, anyway.

Help a colleague install new software on his mac computer. That does not work right either, it turns out that he is one of those people who constantly interrupts with better ideas for doing things that he has no idea about.
And then the woman with her Christmas Card thing, the snow has to fall slower and the resolution has to be greater. Phoey, this is real kitch. Perhaps a version should be made with virus' dropping out of the sky and not snowflakes. Or maybe those ubiquitous radiation trefoils. Now : stop being nasty.
The safety people from the reactor ring: the camera has been ready for some time now, cleared for use. Go on over, collect the camera and start thinking about Javascript.
