Requiescat in pace

There are people out, enjoying the bright sun and dressed warm against the cold air. The park by the Saint Jodok's church has a few people wandering about, some of them with their dogs. The dog owners have their little plastic bags ready, to absorb the dog turds as and when produced. Years ago, somebody had put out poisoned bits of sausage, in those days before plastic bags for dogshit became mandatory. That was nasty then, but these things don't happen any more.

Still, people are careful.

There are people sitting in front of the church, leaning against the brick wall, This has managed to absorb some of the heat radiated by the sun, and it seems to be nice to lean against it.

There are gravestones on the wall of the church, some of them with very nice lettering carved into them. They are all that is left of the cemetery which had been relocated years ago. Instead of being misused as rubble, examples where kept and mounted in the walls of the church.

Some had always been in the walls of the church.

Take a picture of a square gravestone, standing on it's corner like a diamond shape in the brick wall.
