incredible, but true

Blue cool air and light in the room, a constant exchange air through the open verandah door to the old balcony. Just for the awakening alone, and maybe just for this summer, it is worth sleeping in the top flat. It is a thing to relax and enjoy, a simple animal feeling, a pleasant sensation from the clean bedcovers and the new mattress on the floor of the small room. Outside, there is a sunday silence, a sky with diffuse misty grey clouds on a blue background. It is a day to celebrate the end of summer with.

But nature calls, go downstairs, for that is where the only bathroom in the house is. Consider that the cleansing agent used on the toilet bowl had done a good job dissolving limescale during the night, the whole utilitarian object looks much better now. No special tricks as instructed by the YouTube service, just normal, non-genius, procedures.

The kitchen has been tidied, mostly. It is as predicted, it got to be too much for somebody else in the family. A family of four, counting the cat, three of which are still asleep. This is fine, enjoy the peace and quiet of an early Sunday morning. Make the usual tiny speedy breakfast, and take it upstairs. There is no briefing of the news on Sunday, all there is is social media and google. More attempts to amaze, to stun, more hyperbolic comments for those that rescue gulls and dogs. No swearing, no nakedness, but violence and death are allowed. That is the way of American pruderie, a message from those incredibly poor people whose only aim in life is to be incredibly wealthy.
