quiet monday

Early and dark, the door is open to the balcony and the air from the town is blowing into the small room. It is like living in an alcove set off from the street, only that that is not the street outside but a private balcony among the rooftops.

It is still nice to have an own room with the carpets left by the grandmother on the floor. There is nothing else to do. but to sit here and enjpy the peace and the quiet in the morning.

There is no real heating here though, and the temporary heating device draws electricity. Once out of bed the winter cold starts to affect the bones and some extra warmth is needed for comfort. Feel guilty about this, but there is nothing else to be done. The electricity will have to be paid for.

Today is a day of waiting, waiting for the assessor to have made his assessment of the car and to see whether it is worth repairing or not. It will be necessary to buy a new car later, or perhaps to consider living without an own vehicle.

It is nice in the room, but it will be necessary to go out and to deal with things soon.
