Upstairs again, go over the list of used cars. It seems that there is nothing left out. Finish breakfast, leave the house.
It is a lovely morning, with the light softened by fog and mist. The old town looks soft and picturesque, people hurrying to work everywhere. Cross the first river by the footbridge and then the second. After a while, there is the third bridge, and after walking some distance through the industrial quarter, there is the car salesman's place, go in and chat.
The chat is worth four hundred Euros, that is a worthwhile saving.
The car is in a store, go to look at it. It seems all right. It is just a matter of a test drive.
No guarantees for such a cheap car. It is old and has driven great distances. But nothing goes cheep cheep and it is not expensive.
So there, so bought.
