It is light and there is an Alpine vista outside, awaken in the Alps today. A place called Ramsau near Berchtesgaden, stuck on the side of a mountain. An invitation to join him by the brother, to go for a walk in the mountains.

Now that the walk is done it is evening and the mountains are invisible. The walk up the hill along the valley past Hintersee to the Austrian border and back took all day under a clear blue sky, there were  buildings at the top of the hill and the old border post with pictures of historic value.

Half way up the mountain a man with a motorised scythe was cutting away the growths at the edge of the path. Another man was using a blower to clear the leaves from the path. This is Germany.
