Post for the tenth, today!

 Today! eggs on toast  and bad humour because of yesterdays forgotten post.

Sorry for those who would have read it, there is a replacement there now. Too late, really quite a bit too late and this is the second time that this has happened in the last fortnight.

An egg fell this morning and smashed on the floor. Clean the slimy mass up, that is the waste of a breakfast egg. For something that cannot be crushed the surface breaks easily enough. There is the sound of the son's alarm in the background, he ignores it as is usual with his difficulties in the morning. Because of having awoken early a shower can be taken in the early morning, a warm shower which is a delight and a comfort after all the small mishaps of the past few days. It is just the joy of an early morning wash.

Now is the time to wait for the mechanic to finish, and then to collect the car in the hope that it will hold for some years and not cause too much trouble.

The people in the United States have apparently realised that they were being made fools of during the last few years, and are coming to more sensible decisions now.
