This is all not entirely normal.

Awakened early, rest a short while, and then get up to go to the bathroom. Hear the cat at the door from the passageway, and let her in to the shop areal. She growls a greeting and walks in a decisive straight line to the small kitchen area. She looks at the empty plate on the plastic tray and growls again, then she looks up, makes a cat sound and then opens her mouth wide and makes a noise that might be spelt as "WAH". Cat speak for "food on the plate please". Open the plastic container that keeps the food more or less fresh and take out a spoonful. Put the spoon full of food onto the plate. Without further ado the cat commences feeding.

Make coffee and eggs, and risk opening one of the avocados. The avocados are bought hard, and take a few days to soften.

The avocado is all right, it is just soft. The toast pops out of the toaster.

This is the morning meal.

Sit down at the computer, and read about the success of democracy in Hungary, and the failure of the north american states under their insane president to admit a loss. They have destroyed a working system to no ones advantage. They have even lost control of the oil pricing, of which they are the biggest producer of all.

The worlds madness does not stop the cat jumping upon the knees and purring away contendedly.

After finishing the reading get up and realise that the legs below the waist feel icy cold. Getting up makes the head swim, a dizzy feeling .

Go to the bed, lie down, cover the legs. They are warm now, but still feel really cold.

Fall asleep.

Wake at midday, hear the wife upstairs stamping around. This is a strangely threatening noise.

It is midday now, get up and get dressed. Never mind the cold legs, it must be a poor circulation as befits an old man. A walk to the shops might help. Resolve to take a longer walk, down by the river. There is a supermarket there as well.

This is all not entirely normal.
