Church bells

Hear the church bells through the open window, it is a warm night, and it is fatf past four. in the morning. go to the bathroom, partly to go to the bathroom, and partly to see if the water is hot. The hot water system has failed again. Take a small electric torch from the wall cabinet where it is kept. go upstairs to the attic, this is where the boiler is installed. There is a red light blinking red, this indicates a fault. Press the reset button, and the machine starts. go back down the stairs, go back to bed. Another twenty five minutes of sleep, that is nice.
And at five in the morning, the water is hot for a wakening warm shower bath. Luxury.
leave the house a few minutes earlier than usual, walk down the streets. See that there is a bus at the bus stop. It is a bus number four, one that does a tour of the whole town before finally arriving at the station. It is on time, and the usual bus, bus number one, will be at the bus stop in eleven minutes At this hour, the timetables are held precisely on account of there being hardly any traffic.
Take out the camera, try to take a picture of the lights upon the river, the reflections in the water's ripples. There are enormous difficulties installing the lens on the camera, it is done using an adapter. And the adapter does not fit well, also the red markings to align the parts are invisible in the light from the sodium orange street lights.
Take a picture, before the bus arrives, and be off to the railway station.

The smoker has returned to his position on the forecourt, a man of maybe sixty years, grey hair in a pigtail, rucksack on his hoeh Wish him good morning in passing. Behind the counter, there is the bald shaven man with the beard. He is working as fast as he can, but there are just too many people there.

He shouts aname, "Andrea". Nothing happens. He shouts again. Again, nothing happens. On the third shoot the young woman with the black rimmed glasses comes out of the kitchen, and helps with the service. Take the coffee to the waiting room.
