The cat is active, rubbing it's head against a chair, a bed leg. It sits outside the bathroom waiting untill a damp human energies.
Put on the clothes, a fresh shirt in pale green today, short sleeved as the day will be hot.
Feed the cat. The cat takes a few bites from the cold refrigerated cat food and goes elsewhere. Wait for it to warm up.
Now, in the railway station, an announcement. The train on platform one from Mühldorf is arriving. It is time to get up from the coffee table in the station cafe, and to go to the platform number six. On the way, there is an announcement that the train will be delayed for about five minutes, the train from Mühldorf. Think of all of those unfortunate passengers who will not make the connection.
The sun is well over the horizon, shining red, silhouetting the trucks, the buildings , the bridge. The tracks gleam red and oronge. The train from Passau is arriving, passsing the building site that is platform number seven. The building site that is nearing completion.
On board the train, there is a man helping his wife pack her baggage in the spaces provided. He gives her a kiss and a hug for a goodbye, just as the train starts to move. He panics, fearing that he will now have to take a short journey to the next station, locked into the train. Another passenger explains that the train is only shunting, to couple with the train waiting further down the platform. The doors will open again, to let him out.
Laughs all round.
This is the last day of work before the long holidays, four weeks of no trains, no going to work.
get up in Freising, and follow a young woman white plimsolls, a short skirt and a maroon-colored top down the aisle of the carriage, between the seats, to the exit of the train. See the people outside the carriage door bunch into a crowd, eager To. tobe the first to board the train, eager to claim any free seats available. Leave the train, go down the steps to the underpass tunnel, turn left, then take the next stairs on the right up to the platform.
> get on board the waiting local train, and find a free seat. There are plenty available, as both the students and the school children are on holidays.
