The water is cool and pleasant.

Awake to a feeling of fuzziness, the hiss in the air, the sound of Sunday silence from the open window. It had rained during the night, and it is cool now. Sit up at the small desk in the bedroom,  it's door folded down to make a writing surface, all the little drawers and the big space in the middle.

Read about the tension in Europe, the disgrace of America and the sly pleasure of Russia.

Leave the computer, go for a wash and a shave. Take a shower too, try to wash off the tense feeling on  the skin that has been tanned and burnt by the sun.

The water is cool and pleasant.
The air dryer in the bathroom starts it's work, reduce the humidity to keep the walls dry so that the mould that loves the damp will find no purchase.

Dressing for the day in the bedroom, the cat opens an eye and makes a kittenish sound, a high pitched mew. Perhaps the domesticated animal has never grown up, sentenced to live it's life in the golden cage of being a humans pet, making the best of being part of an interspecial family. The computer has marked that neologism in red, meant to say a relationship between species. The computer probably knows the better expression, may you be begged for understanding.

The cat food in the refrigerator, the cat paying close attention. Two spoonfuls on the plate, the son leaves his computer to comment on the quantity of food consumed by a thing called cat. He had to clean the cat tray the evening before, he has a certain interest now in cat food consumption and processing.

He has taken a shower and is now drying his long hair with a hairdryer. The noise is the end of the peaceful morning.

The town is awakening now, it is shortly before eight
