Leave the car under the tree onthe pebble
parking lot. Enter the budding, check in, sce that
there are still thirty two hours of overtime left.
By this evening, it will be forty, or more. Climb the stairs around the stairwell, there
is the pendulum swaying, letting the earth
change its direction, the pendulum sways
on, keeping its momentum, assisted by
two electromagnets.
In the office, unpack the new bearings,
and hang up the jacket.. Use the electric razor
stored in the cupboard here to get rid of the
worst of the facial hair. Electric razors are
not so thorough, but they are convenient.
Bring the bearings down to the machine
shop in the basement. With just a few
movements, the work is done, the hearings
are fitted. All is done.

And then-carry on with work that accumulated.

students had left it to the last moment, and
had had to work at night.
