Breakfast is done, the eyes are now focussing better. The hiss is still there in the right-hand part of the head, it is just like the doctor said. It may never go away, completely. There is no way to establish the exact cause now. This is something that will just have to be ignored.
The cat is soliciting for attention, hold out the hand and she rubs her head against it. Cats do that, either to show affection or to indicate that you are their own human. Maybe there is some other reason too, but it escapes simple human reasoning. Now the cat is in the open window frame, looking out at the commencing traffic in the street.
It is Monday, and there are things to be done, and really no wish at all to do any of them.
It would be nice to just return to sleep. Read the mail, the personal mails are just condescending and the others are trying to sell something or other.
