Wake up at home, know the bed, and see that it is still dark. It is too early to get up, now, it is only four in the morning. This is the punishment for having gone to bed so early last night.

Make a cup of coffee anyway, and take the pills as per the doctors orders. This is a start to the day, there is no news to be read yet, but what of it? The news will be no better today than it was yesterday. The Ukraine being drowned in the blood of conscripted Russians. America unable to take a distant view of guns. And the French dismembering their own country at the election urns.

Take the cup of coffee upstairs and start to work on the photographs, so that they will be ready as promised.

And the head starts to drift as the dizziness from the low blood pressure starts. Hopefully it is only low blood pressure, and nothing else. That would be a nuisance. There is nothing else that it could be, really.

The pictures take longer than planned, go out for a short walk and buy an electric toothbrush to replace the one forgotten in Schweinfurt.
