 Those coughs and snivels are still all there, but they have stepped to the back of the stage, only occasionally coming forward to deliver their message. The message seems to be that the underlying sickness has not gone yet.

Awakening on the mattress on the floor in the top flat was strange, and very peaceful. It is possible to hear the sounds of all the neighbours awakening. There is a sudden groan and a man's voice calls on god, it is as if he is suffering.

It is bright in this part of the house, light pours into two windows, the wall opposed is whitewashed and very bright too. 

As the morning proceeds it gets cooler, as predicted the hot weather seems to be ending for now. Soon there will be another heatwave, at the latest next summer. That is optimistic, there will probably be another this summer.

A cough comes to the front stage, and delivers his message, followed by a sneeze.

Outside a hen belonging to the neighbours makes it's noises, and it starts to drizzle with rain.

It will be a couple of days yet before this infection is over
