A dull Sunday, so much warmer than expected. The balcony door was open all night, and in the morning the air was cool and fresh. Wait for a while until the bathroom is free, then go downstairs and make breakfast. The son has a friend staying over, the wife is at home and the cat has been fed. Said animal follows up the stairs, it feels curious.
Walk around town, then realise that the jacket is too warm and that the pullover is unnecessary. Return home, change the clothes and commence walking about town. It is no longer possible to enjoy the atmosphere, or any thing at home. That is too bad. There are many people out and about in Landshut, enjoying the weather, taking their dogs and their fancy bicycles out. Cyclists ring their bells to clear the pedestrians out of their path, it is all rather impatient. Consider the purchase of one of those machines, that may be an idea.
There is a message to be answered. Apparently the old man with cancer had successfully reached the United States last week, after being driven to a Portuguese port from his small Bavarian town by his son. Also, the care that he is receiving there seems to be doing him good. Answer this in a suitable fashion. There is a prompt reply to meet in the pub later on. This speed can be uncomfortable, but these are modern times.
Later on, at home, the son comes up and offers a cup of coffee, that is nice of him. He also extends an invitation to visit him in Bayreuth during the week. That is a very pleasant idea.
