Siri started playing her tunes at seven, as hat been arranged four hours previously. This was a rude awakening. Get up, go downstairs, make breakfast so that there can be at least some awakening at that hour. That works, the breakfast is eatable.
Then dress, and leave the house in a hurry. The bus arrives in five minutes, and the train leaves seven minutes after the bus arrive at the station.
Munich is fine, the weather is good, and the connections with the underground transport services work well.
Spend all day with Clare, the visitor walking through the English Garden in Munich, to finally arrive in central Munich, at the Marienplatz. There a small amount of shopping took place. It was all good fun, but after the very short night's sleep it was tiring. An expensive meal at the Pschorr Keller and a very good glass of their beer helped.
There was a walk around the Victualienmarkt afterwards and then the return journey to Clare's hotel was undertaken. A quick espresso there, and then the return journey to Landshut was undertaken.
Apart from the usual chaos at the main railway station, the journey in the overheated train was uneventful. There was a young child who was a bit noisy, but that does not matter.
Now it is nearly nine in the evening and time for bed.
