the sound of the emergency services over the rooftops

Walking around the corner at the museums in Landshut realise that the tinnitus has gone. That is a happy feeling, it really is. There is no reason for it to have gone, but it is silent.

Walk on, through the park in the centre of the Neustadt town square, pass the church and go on down to the supermarket in the basement of the mall. Do a small amount of shopping, chat to an acquaintance, and then go on with the walk. The route goes past the Italian restaurant and proceeds along the river. Near the centre of the old town there are a few rather seedy restaurants catering to tourists. Buy a slice of warm meat loaf in a roll at a butchers.

Return home, collect the mail from the mailbox. There is the town advertising a shopping Sunday next weekend. These stupid events, why on earth should people wish to shop on Sundays when they can regularly shop all six other days of the week. What is so special about being able to shop on a Sunday?

The woman at the corner of the Altstadt is singing Irish ballads, accomapanying herself on an accordion.

The tinnitus returns again, that is a shame. There is no way of knowing what caused it to go.

There is the sound of the emergency services over the rooftops.
