arrived

The sea journey ended this morning, at one. During the day the ferry travelled up and down vertically with the swells, and after passing Lands End commenced a rolling motion. Nobody who was only used to the situation on dry land could really cope with this constant motion. Most of the passengers stayed in their cabins.

The food on board was nice, and the crew was very friendly.

Finally, in Rosslare, they all donned yellow high visibility vests and gently herded everyone back to their cars. After another wait everyone was quickly wave through the various check points.

The drive to Dublin took an hour over the deserted motorway. It was easy to drive at a constant speed, just at the limit.

Now, at midday, and after a deep sleep all the baggage has been removed from the car, and a cup of instant has been drunk.

The news is read, and now all is done.

It is an old house built in part during the seventeenth century. It is in poor repair now, but it is a building of great beauty.

There are supplies needed, so a visit to the Irish shops is in order.
