On the boat with dog on the bunk in the cabin. Tnhe owner od the dog has gone for a midday meal after sleeping off the side effects of a seasickness pill taken last night. The English coast is sliding past on the left, wherever that may be for a sailor.
After the night the sea is calm, with only vey occasional larger waves.
The two meals of the day were worthwhile, and lunch was actually good.
The drive to the boat was done in heavy rain, after a pleasant sendoff in the big house. Apart from driving on the left, traffic in Ireland can be difficult. There is much overuse of perceived rights resulting in dangerous situations for anyone used to motoring as a combined effort to reach a destination wthout mishap.
Dunkirk will be reached tomorrow morning
very early
