catch the boat tonight

 Sleep Wass very very deep. It was eight in the morning and there was a deadly pain in the back. It must have been from the vacuum cleaning yesterday

Get up with difficulty, rolling over in the bed and putting the feet over the edge of same before levering the old body into a vertical position.

Downstairs, wash the teeth and go to the toilet.

Go upstairs and put the clothes on, then downstairs again to make breakfast. It was a perfunctory breakfast. Meanwhile the woman from Berlin has returned with her dog. She and the sister in law are having a discussion about going to town and having fun. Remind them that the Berlin dog will have to go to the vet. That changes the plans and all decide to go on up to the garden centre.

Take the dog and its Berlin owner to the vet to check the dog's suitability for export. Then go to the garden centre and  say farewell to the brother and have a cup of coffee with him in his older garden centre just down the road.

Meanwhile, the girls have been in town  and now it is possible to finish off the packing. Return to the house, do the rest of the vacuum cleaning and carry the machine downstairs.
