There is the sound of trains in the distance on this morning. The trains are the ones that travel from Mühldorf to Burghausen and other places. They hoot at every level crossing to warn any chance motorist or other road users.
Lands hut was left last night upon the invitation of the mother of the friend from Berlin. Meet the family and spend part of the evening chatting, and then went to bed in the attic room. The son was already there, already asleep.
Slept till the early morning and then got up.
Then the family woke up, and then the son.
And by the time that breakfast was done and the dog was de wormed it was ten.
Spend nearly the whole of the day driving to Ronchamp with the friend, her dog and the son.The journey took a total of more than six hours.
The hotel in Ronchamp was seriously overdecorated in a nice sort of French way.
But it was pleasant.
The meal in Ronchamp was sensational, even though the hotel was relatively simple
