This is the first of the final three days in Ireland. Two hours ago a meeting with a friend from childhood ended, a friendly chat with no particular aim.. It was splendid in its way, just a friendly meeting with no particular objektiv. Times sixty years ago were remembered. And changes were noted.
Afterwards took a short walk about the old building, met Eithne and the young Peter who work fixing up her garden.. Stand outside the green house for a while, the greenhouse still containing the cistern in which the sister drowned sixty seven years ago, Poor natasha, what would have become of her?
Walk about the gardens, green and shady, with the gloom of past events on the mind.
Return to the flat now used as for temporary accommodation. Read the news, finish the coffee.
It is a lovely day in beautiful place. It is more than half done now.
