late awakening

The cat walks across the floor from one corner of the room to the other.
That is diagonally.
And then back to the kitchen some seconds later.
In a straight line.
The son is up, he has put on a yellow shirt, he is brushing his long red hair.
There are stacks of clothing everywhere in the sitting room, and stacks of computer parts.

Life is hard, but it is a beautiful morning, a hot and very dry morning, it will be a baking hot day again.

Jobs today:

 Help the son repair an Iphone, by watching his nimble fingers guided by his sharp eyes. All that needs to be done is to prevent his panic and impatience.

Fill the cracks and slits in wall, left after the laying of electrical cables, and after the centuries of subsidence have let the plaster fall from the wall.

Take a picture of a drawing done by a nineteen-year-old forty years ago and send it to him , it is his birthday.

Buy a watch, one that has been waiting for delivery for over three months. An early birthday present.

There are things to do, when there is no need to go to work.

But that will be past in September.
