The building site in front of the office window

is in constant development now. They are

digging a vast hole in the shape of the building,

they are going to have two basement levels.

Around the edge of the hole the ground has been injected with concrete and metal supports in

the previous weeks. There are colossal areas of earth to be moved, and two yellow diggers are filling twenty-five ton trucks with it.

When there are no trucks to be filled they dig and scrape, and move earth, making great heaps of it. They are like children on the sea

side, just the scale is different.

The men who are working away at the

edges of the pit are all wearing high visibility safety clothes, and white hard hats.

They are all very busy , all working in small groups. One of them starts a small chain saw, and he and his colleagues start to trim red-painted wooden planks to make a safety fence.

Sit in the office, there is no work to be done.
