In the big store look to see whether they have circular black labels approximately 12 millimetres wide. They have them in many colours, but not black. Buy some white labels for another purpose and leave the shop after paying.
Cross the road, it is a pedestrian zone which has been taken over by cyclists using electrical bicycles. They are fast, and they believe that they have the right of way. Since a contact would be painful, stop walking and let them pass. Visit a roadside cafe and take a cup of coffee and a sandwich. Then go to the mall to use the public toilet there. There is nothing else worth getting there today. Leave that overheated consumer's paradise and head on towards the school for ceramics, admire a vase with many spots on it and some ceramic apples with a bright red glaze on them. The spots are nicely arranged but badly done. The apples are fantastic, they would lead to starting an art collection.
Walk through the park, take a picture of some snowdrops. And then just go home.
Later, there is a knock on the door.
It is the son, and he is very pleased with himself. He has a small credit card sized document in his hand, he is now licensed to drive a car. He is very pleased with himself.
Ring up the insurance company and extend the insurance cover.
The insurance cover will be good as of midnight.
