Drove down to Landau to help a friend who needs picture of mouldy window frames. A western flat built in the seventies, thin walled, well sealed. A young muslim family who turn up the heat and never open a window. There is mildew and damp, and they do not know what caused it. Take pictures of the window surrounds, covered in mildew. The air in the room is thick and moist. A man holds a lamp to show the fungus growing everywhere. Their clothes, on a clothes horse in the middle of the room, adding more moisture to the air.
It is just a dense smell of mildew everywhere, there is no help for it.
But the friend wants them out of the flat.
Shut up and do the job, just take pictures of the mould every where.
Be sorry for the family, the family has more difficulties than it deserves.
Drive home in the evening, and then go out for a night out in the pub.
There is another job next tuesday, more pictures.
