 On the roof opposite to the window there is what appears to be a sparrow with whiskers. Knowing that such configurations do not exist, look again. In fact, what appear to be whiskers are strands of nesting material that the bird is carrying in its beak. The birds are nesting under the eaves of that roof. The cat is on a rug in the room, languidly listening to rhe twittering of the tiny birds.

It is another sunny day. The weather appears to be turning hot again, after a slow start the summer is getting under way. It will be possible to turn off the heating later on today, and to leave it off until October.

The sons request to borrow the bicycle this morning was interesting enough. He had vowed to repair it after damaging it, but upon his procrastinating for weeks the repair was done in a local bicycle shop. As soon as his fathers bicycle is repaired he uses that instead of repairing his own. At the moment, it is important that he gets to work. The result of all of this is that his father now does not have a bicycle. This is not a major problem, most of the stores are to be reached on foot anyway.

The new paper arrived today, that will need to be tested, this is just another chore.

And the rooms need to be dusted too.

And there is another bicycle to repair.
