The rain stopped play today. And anyway, there are small things to do in the house and the pictures to sort and to edit. All the pictures from France, there are not many, but they are to be treated with care. There is a constant headache now, it will not let go. Perhaps an ibuprofen pill would help. Take one now, and see if it works.
The day is spent indoors, reading.
And at five in the evening go out to the café and listen to people argue about politics. This all takes place at a distance, only snatches of conversation are to be heard. See the neighbours family go somewhere together as a happy group. That is a nice thing to see.
And then go home, it is now misery. The wife is on her way to recovery, she is walking about cooking things in the kitchen. Imagine that there will be a mess to clear up in the morning.
Go back upstairs, and edit a few more pictures. But the heart is no longer in it, it is probably better to leave things for tomorrow.
