it is still warm enough ourside for the flies and other insects to be active

Fix up the cameras, pack the equipment as perhaps needed

Then walk about town, just enjoy this sun at the end of October

Go to the bank, discover that the secret pin has fallen into a hole in the memory, gone. Step back and think of the sequence of actions leading to past withdrawals. The number climbs back out of the hole in the mind. now it is possible to go about the business and to make the withdrawal.

Walk along by the river, and then find a pleasant café.

meet a man, cannot recognise him, he is known and then again he is not. Walk on down the street hear a call. It is the driving instructor, he looks so unwell that he is unrecognisable. Almost.

He explains that his wife has died.

Suddenly, last week. He gives an invitation to go to a meeting later on, in a local guest house.

Later, at the meeting, everyone carries on as before

Just the instructors wife, she is elsewhere.
