All Fool's Day is Easter Monday today, and the one writing this neither understands Easter nor is he seen as a complete fool. But that is the way things are. Last night was the first night this year with the verandah door and the window open, sound light and air all available in profusion on this today's Fool's day.
The cat is desirous of attention, so much so that her sitting on the lap of the one considering the connection between the first of April and Easter hinders the attempt to reach for the pills kept on top of the wardrobe in their box. Stroke the feline fur and listen to her purr.
Downstairs, at nearly midday, the wife sleeps the sleep of the righteous. There has been no talking now for some weeks, one is angry and one enjoys the quiet.
