 Nothing came of yesterday's sincere wish, it was late coming back home and that was all. There was no time to get involved in any kind of activity other than going to sleep.

It was loverly to see the joy that the son had in securing his first ever flat, his first ever completely independent room with his own tiny cooking facilities and his own compact bathroom. The flat could have been bigger, but it was fine the way it was. There will not be so much to clean.

Today is a day of heavy rain interspersed by periods of lighter rain. This is all fine for the vegetation, but it is unpleasant weather to go walking in. At thid moment the sun shows, timidly. The weather is actually more changeable than had been thought. 

All of the black trousers apart from those being currently worn are in the washing machine. They will be done in forty minutes, then they may proceed to the dryer. That is the washing taken care of.

Outside, check to see whether or not a parking spot is free. There are none,  some have been occupied by fairground visitors desperate to find a space. Parking on reserved spaces can be costly.

Return home and practice using the ipad with the camera. It is complex and not entirely satisfactory.
