The workmen at the building site across the roofs of the houses start at ten past seven, you can hear the clatter and creak of their large building crane. The birds have been at it since before six, chirping and singing to each other. And the loudmouthed German neighbour has been using his loud voice to wake his family and to express his opinion since then too. These are sounds that come in through the open window once the silence of the night is over.
Today there will be photographs to be made for the artists, they are to be high resolution photographs in colour. That will be an opportunity to work with the new camera.
Turn up the radio to drown the neighbours noise. It is a quarter past seven and the neighbour has started using an angle grinder on some metal work.
It is a loser's game. The neighbour now starts to abuse the walls with an electric hammer. He will likely keep that up all day.
