It is now the evening of the twentieth of February, and it has been a pleasant morning with an early haircut. There was time spent discussing things with the son, and a short time spent in a café too.
The tenants of the downstairs shop have left the premises, they have not yet returned the key. That will hopefully not be a problem. The woman from the Ukraine who watches over everything on the behest of her boss is sad, she liked the old office in the old house.
It is worth looking forward to being able to take over the rooms and to enjoy a space with heating provided. There are many things that will need to be renovated, but it will turn into a worthwhile gallery, or studio, or whatever. It is a change worth looking forward to.
Then spend the afternoon in the artist's studio with the printer, busily trying to understand the way that it works. It is strange how the nozzles of the inkjet head keep on blocking, and then clearing again. It is not easy to understand. Shake all the ink containers thoroughly, then replace them. Perhaps that helped, the errors in the test pattern change, and become less pronounced.
Print out some very large prints of the tiny figures, so that they are almost half life size. That is a rewarding business, they are pleasant to look at so big. Use cheap paper, this work is only to obtain an impression of this approach to displaying them.
A side effect of this is that the heads of the printers clear and produce good test patterns.
