Went shopping in the morning, the eggs and the avocados have nearly run out. Buy them after having taken a coffee break with a Zimtschnecke at the local cafe. There is a couple in there , both constantly talking and deliberating their actions.

Walk on through the town to the supermarket in the mall. Get the avocados and a tray off eggs. Make doubly sure that none are broken. At the till the system refuses to  have pretzels. Call for assistance the young man who comes over says that for some reason pretzels have dropped out of the system today.

Return home, two parcels have arrived, one with  a 24 inch roll of paper, and the other with a a large measuring device for the printer. This is all very fine.

Upstairs work around trying to tidy things. The message on the phone tells me that there is another parcel on the way. Go downstairs to collect it. It is a solvent for inks- perhaps this can be used to clear up the problem with the printer.

Bring the waste paper downstairs, then take a walk to the studio, and bring over the solvents and the roll of paper. The printer still refuses to work ere the waste tray has been replaced. Other people turn up, leave before things get complicated.

Run into the Argentine in the middle of town. He does not look terribly well, he tells me that he has to go to hospital tomorrow to have his stitches removed and to get the results of the examination.

Offered to help him carry things down into his basement. He complained that the padlock on the door to his section of the basement was stuck.

Went home and lay down to sleep. There was a telephone call, and the it was the Argentine asking for help. Packed a pliers and went over to his flat. Helped him transport a pair of loudspeakers to the basement. Fiddled with the lock, it made a clicking noise, and the jam was released.

That is it, the problem was solved, bring the pliers back home
