Porridge with joghurt laced with maple syrup. A strange mixture which tastes very good, accompanied by a cup of black coffee makes up todays breakfast. Today is the day planned for Lettermore, a half a days journey to the other side of the island of Ireland
After helping to collect all the supplies to stock the cottage with firewood, sit in the back of the car with the dog on the slow cruise through the rainy countryside. The old dog places its head on the warm human thigh and falls asleep.The journey is slow through heavy sunday traffic, there has been an accident on the road, and it takes quite a long time to clear it.
