Good morning Enniskerry

There is a clicking noise, a strange rhthym, then a steady thumping noise, not in time with the clicking. It is not music.

Then one of the dogs barks, it is the one wagging its tail while on the sofa, thumping said appendage against a leather covered cushion. The clicking noise increases in frequency as the other dog changes direction and speed,

It is early morning in a friends house in Enniskerry, and one of the dogs jumps up on to the sofa now serving as a bed and commences to lick the barely woken face. Hide under the bedclothes, this is a fast escape. Then the rubbery nose finds an opening.

Sit up.

Then there is the clicking sound of the dog nails on the floorboards as the other dog approaches.

Good morning Enniskerry
