Buy a film for the camera that arrived in the post this morning. The camera is over eighty years old, and for that it is in splendid condition. It is too cold now to go about taking pictures. The price of films in the shop is shocking, and the price that they would like to receive for developing films is worse still.
It is freezing outside, even though the snow has melted it is cold, everybody is wearing padded clothing on the street except for a plump young woman with a bare midriff showing off her navel deep in its recess in the centre of her tummy. Walk down the main street to the little bakery with the funny café. This place has been discovered by a group of Ukrainians. They hang about there drinking coffee and trying to learn German. They all talk in Ukrainian about their German exercises.
The bread roll is strangely tough today.
Go to the supermarket and buy apples and a loaf of bread.
And then go home again.
