tomorrow

The man with the parcels came at just a quarter to twelve, as predicted by the message on the computer. There was the large flat package containing the print for the brother, specially ordered for him. And then there is a package from Ebay containing a few small bits for a gadget that has not arrived yet. It has to do with an old fashioned way of working , they are parts of a light meter.

Open the package with the print, taking care to it in such a way that the packing material can be re-used, for after the inspection it will be sent straight on to Dublin. Who knows what he will do with it, but he did ask for a print.

Repack the picture, write a note to go with it, seal the whole lot with tape and go downstairs. The distance to the post office is not great, and in twenty minutes the package is on its way.

Then collect the package of drugs from the pharmacy, they are expensive, and let us hope that they will work towards alleviating the suffering involved in getting older. If they rely on belief and faith in their efficacy then this is a waste of money. There is no faith or belief in such things any more.

The most important thing is to go to the shops and get some eggs and bread for breakfast tomorrow.
