The morning is warm again, remembering the icy mornings years ago leaves worry as to what is happening to the climate. It is all as if this is surprising. People are not prepared, and others are always to blame. The calculations do not cut the cheddar, or any other class of cheese. People always know, and the individual is never at fault. Only afterwards the stories are rife over what should have been done, and it is all definitely clear that what could have been done was not done. Money alone will not solve the problems, even though money may well have been their cause.
Shower and make breakfast, work around other peoples ordures to serve those personal needs. There are dirty pans on the cooker, move them aside. Leave them there, they are not a personal affair. The mess belongs to others, the family.
Make a little breakfast for the cat too.
Take it all upstairs, where there will be no fear of disturbance. It is colder there, there is nothing but a small electric heater, but that is secondary. Principally it is just peace and quiet, and a personal sense of order.
