Yesterday's puzzlement over the non functioning of the camera back has been clarified. The Danish firm that makes the digital back simply pointed out that the Swedish firm that makes the camera has installed some software that prevents its cameras being used with the Danish firm's backs. Only very few of the Swedish firms backs allow a reasonable function with the Danish firms backs. This is all too bad, and it is going to be expensive. A minor catastrophe is what this may be called.
The weather is hot, it is quiet outside but for the noise of the crane at the building site nearby. It would be nicer if there was rain.
