there is a change in weather coming

Breakfast was taken in later today, it has become very much colder now. The thermometer on the wall by the verandah door says that it is fifteen degrees. Two weeks ago it was twenty-five degrees. This is all Centigrade.

Read the news on the computer, American politics are of great interest again. The war in Gaza is still unclear. The world will only really know what is happening after it is all over, and even then there will still be things unknown. Read the news, read about the big man in America spouting his emotions rawly and the professional woman using what she has learnt to good effect.

There are enough dictatorships in the world, and there are no good autocrats.

Work on the wedding pictures. There are many many of them, but in time their number will be reduced to something sensible.

Tidy up the kitchen, have a shower. Talk to the son and feed the cat. The wife is under way somewhere, the atmosphere is relaxed.

In the early afternoon a parcel service brings the new camera. Take it out of its wrapping, it is in good condition, as had been promised. One can never be absolutely sure with used goods. Then try out the back with the camera. This functions too, it works straight away.

Place the battery on charge, and go out. It is cool and wet outside, there is a change in weather coming.
