the remainder of the day

 The morning is quiet and peaceful. And the weather is pleasant, not to hot and not at all cold. This could be a great situation for the whole year.

The cat is on the balcony, she has jumped up onto the ledge where the plants are enjoying the last of the summers sun. She is beside a small pot containing zyperus zumula , a plant, a grass she likes to chew at. It is there for her to enjoy, it is sold in Germany as cat grass. She is stretched out enjoying the sun, and shows herself appreciative of her fur being stroked by human hands.

Breakfast was nice, despite the avocados that were bought two days ago still not being ripe for consumption. Perhaps they will be sufficiently soft by tomorrow. But the toast and the eggs were just right.
