The parcel arrived today containing a camera as an occasional support for some other parts. The camera as such appeared in good condition, all the parts fitted, but later on in the evening it became evident that despite mechanically fitting there was some disparity in the supporting electronics which meant that the system simply did not work at all.
During the day there was one delight, that was going out to the Thai place and having a soup. Thom Yam with chicken and hot, and it was incredibly tasty and went down well with the heat.
The coffee in the little café was a bit disappointing, it is hard to tell exactly why.
In the evening look up the prices of similar cameras in order to check their compatibility. They are not terribly expensive, but it is all disappointing.
A telephone call with the brother is pleasant, and a date is made out for Thursday afternoon. It turns out that it will not be necessary to go to Regensburg to pick up the brides brother and his son to go to the wedding. They will take another route on a later day.
Now it is turning into evening, it will be possible to go out soon for a drink in the calm of the evening.
It will be possible to forget the annoyance with the camera and be happy at the thought that there will be two new jobs coming up.
