In the morning see that the pictures for the big band have been correctly credited. They are no longer just anonymous. That is pleasant.
This whole house is beset with tension. It is strange that even though there is enough space it is so hard to relax here. Breakfast is all made and consumed and coffee is made and drunk.
Worry that the car has been left on one of the parking spaces that is going to be taken over by a building site. Go out to the car, it is about three streets away. See that it is parked right next to the area reserved for the building site. Start the car and drive it to the regular place opposite to the local police station.
Start to work on the photographs of the wedding, they are no great source of happiness. Keep on working at them until it is time to go to the dental surgeon. It is ten to two, and the appointment is at two thirty. The drive takes ten minutes, and the arrival at the clinic is early. There is a large ornate sign instructing patients to use the lift. This has a small tacky sign fixed to its door which says that the device is out of order. Walk upstairs, and in no time at all be directed into a room with very smart dental chair. They are fussy and precise. They wrap their patient in green cloths and the injections of the anaesthetic are not at all painful. Then they start to drill and hammer, then to sew, and it is all done. They take an x-ray to check on their work. It all took less than three quarters of an hour.
Make an appointment for the coming week at the regular dentists to have the stitches removed.
Return home and continue to work on the pictures. It is all very tiring, progress is slow.
